Carluccio's launches its Olio di Puglia campaign illustrated by Paul Rogers

Carluccio's restaurants are now offering Olio di Puglia in their cafes with posters, paper bags and postcards illustrated by Paul Rogers. The campaign runs for about six weeks. Paul says, "Carluccio's is a favorite stop for me in London, so when they called about a poster for their Olio di Puglia, I was quick to say yes. They asked a few artists to create posters with a vintage travel vibe to promote some of the fine products they sell in the stores in front of the restaurants."

Annabelle Metayer illustrates tween bracelet-making kit by DMC

DMC is now selling the Prism Friendship Wear Bobbin Box for tweens illustrated by our artist Annabelle Metayer. Annabelle says, "After reading the brief for this illustration assignment, I simply sat at my drawing desk with three keywords in mind: friendship, fun, and youth! Starting from there, the inspiration for the characters came easily. I am pleased with the final product!" You can purchase the kits online and in A. C. Moore and Hobby Lobby stores.

Tatsuro Kiuchi's "eye-crossing" technique

Tatsuro Kiuchi has recently been creating 3D stereogram images manually by crossing his eyes and moving the elements in the layers until they pop. Beware: in order to see the 3D effect, you will have to cross your eyes also! The first link is to Tatsuro's flickr page with the images, and the second website gives detailed instructions for viewing this type of image.
