Joe Morse is included in the exhibition, "Paint for Print, Contemporary Illustration, Traditional Media." It opened on Thursday, November 6, at The Glass Curtain Gallery at Columbia College in Chicago. The exhibition continues until December 19.
Besides Joe Morse, the exhibition includes original illustrations by John Hendrix, Gina Triplett, Sterling Hundley, Gérard DuBois, Olaf Amit, Shino Arihara, Penelope Dullaghan, Aaron Jasinski, and Robert MacKenzie.
"Paint for Print" shows not only the original hand-painted artwork, but also the books and other printed materials so that the viewer can see the finished product. The exhibit shows the work of professional illustrators who use paint and other mediums instead of digital art.
